Summary: Stayed for concert in centre, so served our purpose. Continental breakfast included. Staff friendly and helpful when we told them we were vegan and is there Oat milk in the room for tea and coffee and was immediately provided with Oat milk.

Summary: Had a weekend dinner special that motivated us to not go elsewhere for dinner. Would have preferred a slightly later checkout time. 10:30 is earlier than most hotels

Summary: This hotel would have been impressive several decades ago. The place is massive, the room good sized, the restaurant and veranda have an amazing dize and were probably grand 50 years ago. It needs a lot of TLC to return it to its past glory. Carpets are so old and worn, a shame because they were probably good quality last century. Even the waiting staff at breakfast couldnt spare a smile and looked mainly unhappy to be there. When i saw "bath only" on the reservation, and it was repeated when we checked in, i couldn't have imagined it meant there would be no shower hose, and a plastic jar to get water from the bath tap to rinse off. Come on, invest on some renovations!
