Positive: The property was very clean, modern and spacious for an apartment in Amsterdam. Host Arvin was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was made each day and fresh towels. The area is ideal and close to shops, restaurants and attractions.

Negative: Nothing !

Positive: Artist House is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and canals, a great Amsterdam experience. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was massive and comfy and once we shut the bedroom door there was no noise to interrupt our sleep. The bath towels were thick and fluffy and we had two full sized towels each (we only had one towel each or one full sized and one hand towel in all our other accom in Europe) Our hosts Hans and Arvin were friendly, thoughtful and very helpful. They have an eye for detail even down to the pots of orchids which were so perfect I thought they were artificial, but turned out to be real 🌷Thank you Hans and Arvin for our wonderful stay 😊❤️👌

Positive: Very good location. Close to public transport and many places can be visited by walking. Place has a feel of home instead of a hotel vibe. Microwave, dishwasher and wares available for use. Overall very comfortable. No regrets in booking this accommodation.

Negative: Not a dislike, but would be nice if there was access to a washing machine in case of longer stays. Be aware that the staircase to the room is very steep and narrow. Not suitable for someone with a disability or mobility problems.

Negative: Needs a couple folding luggage stands.

Positive: A beautiful stylish apartment, in a historic building, very clean, and comfortable. A great host who is very helpful in directing what to do and where to go. A great location. Even though it is just off a large busy square in the centre of the city it was very quiet and I slept very well. Immediately outside the door is an amazing choice of restaurants and bars and a decent supermarket directly across the square. I certainly would stay there again and I recommend this place to single travellers or couples looking to explore the centre on foot.

Negative: Like most old houses in the centre of Amsterdam the staircase is very narrow and steep! Fortunately I was travelling light so was not an issue.
