Positive: You helped make our wedding night and morning after the best we could have asked for, the place was lovely and my now wife absolutely loved it, the spa was incredible and the fire was beautiful, and the food for breakfast went down an absolute treat, thank you so much.

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect and I couldn’t have asked anything better.

Summary: I will definitely be recommending you guys to anyone who wants to book a getaway in the Dandenongs.

Positive: We recently stayed at the Corabelle Cottage at Arnica Views Retreat, Mount Dandenong, for a long weekend. The cottage itself was spacious and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay, though the amenities seemed to be general rather than tailored to our specific cottage. The location was absolutely stunning — private, tranquil, and surrounded by nature. It truly felt like an escape from the real world, peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. As for breakfast, the booking stated it was “included,” but we were surprised to find just four eggs and a packet of processed ham in the fridge, not bacon as suggested. Not a major issue for us, as we had brought our own supplies, but worth clarifying for future guests.

Negative: There were a few areas that could use improvement. The cottage was not as clean as expected — there were cobwebs in the corners (even over the TV), visible dust, and the dishes were greasy, so we rewashed everything before use. A working salad bowl would have been a bonus! The wall-mounted heater/fireplace didn’t work, and the provided portable heater struggled to warm the open space downstairs. We were also limited to five pieces of wood per night, which made keeping warm a little tricky. The presence of a bug zapper in the dining area was also a bit off-putting. Better quality pillows and a couple of extra would have been nice. Would have prevented a stiff neck for 4 days after the stay.

Positive: Great location! Check in was easy, and room was nice and warm when we arrived. Beds comfortable, fireplace was a lovely touch.

Negative: Room next door was noisy, could hear from the back bedroom - not the accomodation's fault. Dishwasher leaked a little and the switchboard was triggered once but this was fixed by the host with a simple text message. Otherwise all good!
