Summary: The staff were absolutely horrendous on arrival. I know arrival times are most hotels. Check-in is 2 PM but not only did these guys hold that they tried to charge you extra if you wanted to check in earlier even though the rooms are ready. There was about 50 or 60 other people in the lobby waiting until 2 PM and they were trying to charge everyone 50 or $100 to check in Even as late 30 minutes before. Absolute disgraceful and a definite price go for no reason. There are no services offered other than breakfast even you’re welcome. Drink is do it yourself. There is no feeling or harmony to this building whatsoever even though it is fantastic

Summary: Great view from the room, good style, excellent decor. The bedroom air condition had problems that maintenance fixed, so the room was cool but the air conditioning became noisy which made sleeping a problem. The shower door also was coming off the hinges. The hotel was told but didn't fix it during our stay. Perhaps covid 19 had something to do with it

Summary: It is a beautiful hotel that is not fully functioning yet. I had the impression they are still opening--lots of construction still happening in the corridors. There are beautiful finishings and fixtures--really stunning design--and wonderful pool. I loved the bathrobes, the in-room kitchen, and bathtub in the room was great. I loved the huge onsen/hot tub, but it was only warm on 2 of my 5 nights. Wonderful breakfast buffet, and the restaurant staff were very kind and helpful. Once when they were out of papaya at the buffet, one of the servers brought me a plate especially for me as he knew I liked papaya. The hotel is in a strange location, which was fine for me,, but maybe some others would like to be closer to town. Overall it was a great, relaxing stay.
