Positive: Beautiful accommodation on a magnificent island. No detail overlooked. Most comfortable bed of my entire holiday in Scotland. Breakfast lovely and unhurried. Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Heaven.

Negative: Could find nothing to dislike. However all other accommodations will now seem sub-standard.

Positive: Beautiful furnishings, clean and modern facilities. Beds were super comfy and water pressure in the shower was brilliant! Richard was a fantastic host and we were made to feel welcome and relaxed.

Positive: Very homey beautiful location and ease from the ferry.

Negative: I don’t like that the person who lived in the property was always there, felt at times that we were an imposition. He needs to be scarce when not providing breakfast so that people feel more relaxed that it’s private.

Positive: My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Ardoran House in September. We were met at the ferry by John who drove us to Ardoran House. The accommodation was both comfortable and well presented and rooms quite spacious. Location wise it is a short walk to 2 hotels which we dined at plus a Spar co-op. Breakfast was delicious. Richard our host was such a professional who wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We didn’t get the opportunity to have 6 o’clock drinks with him (as we like to eat dinner early) but we still got the opportunity to talk and find out about his interesting life and how he came to manage Ardoran House.

Summary: Having such a wonderful stay at Ardoran House I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to stay on Iona.
