Summary: We absolutely loved our time in Paola's fun, stylish, comfortable apartment! There was plenty of room for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens), and the apartments was thoughtfully equipped for our needs (comfortable sofa bed, washer, snacks on arrival, even seat cushions for a night at the Arena opera!). Paola is an absolute delight: friendly, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. And the location of the apartment is ideal: close enough to the Arena and main plazas to walk to, far enough away that it was quiet (and with great views of the river). Definitely our favorite VRBO rental on our 3-week trip to Europe. Thanks, Paola!

Summary: The apartment overlooks the Adige River and affords a great view of the river and of the old castle downstream. Although I have found Verona a bit confusing in the past with its winding medieval streets, it was impossible to get lost this visit. By walking along the river, one is soon in the historic center. The owner has done an excellent job providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Within a couple of minutes there is a well-stocked grocery store and a tobacconist's shop where bus tickets are sold. The #30 bus stops about a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and I was able to take it to the train station upon departure, making everything easy.

Summary: I recently stayed almost 2 weeks in Verona in this lovely apartment and was not ready to leave when my "time" was up. Paola has done an amazing job decorating this place and making it comfortable and easy to live in. I was a single traveler, but for a couple it would also be fine. There is a staircase to the bedroom (which has a low ceiling height for taller people) that might be harder for some travelers. Other than the beautiful apartment, and Paola's amazingly helpful and friendly personality, there is also Verona ... the perfect Italian town, large enough to be interesting, small enough not to be overwhelmed. This apartment was in the perfect location to get to the tourist attractions on foot without being in the midst of the tourists. San Zeno is such a cute neighborhood. I didn't leave town very often because I loved Verona so much, but I did catch a train up to Bolzano for a day and was so happy how easy it was. I did not have a car with me and did not feel I needed one for visits to Venezia, Vicenzo, Bolzano. I am already planning my next stay. Grazie mille Paola per tutto!!! Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!!

Summary: Pleasant location upon the river . A bit of a walk to Piazza Bra but a mostly pleasant walk as much of the journey to the centrale area is via a scenic promenade along the river.

Summary: The apartment was quirky and cute. We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a nice location on the river and close to walk into the city center. There are a few sets of steps in the apartment so keep in mind when booking if stairs are an issue. Paola is very quick to respond and worked with us on our change in travel needs after booking. We would definitely recommend and will stay here again if we return to Verona.
