Positive: This apartment is in a very quiet seaside community. It is in a large walled-in lot with trees, birds, and lots of light. There are sun chairs around a patio area. The highlight is a hot tub where we spent time relaxing after our days of touring southeast Sicily. The apartment is comfortable and we were able to cook a nice meal in the kitchen when we didn’t go to a restaurant. For restaurants, we recommend La Fornace in Isola, a 5 minute drive, with tables on the water looking across to Siracusa. Andrea, the host, was very responsive and provided us with much information about the area. This apartment was a perfect place to relax.

Positive: The house is in perfect condition and excellently cleaned and prepared for any guests. We had everything that we needed and the host was always available and helpful.

Negative: Sadly you could not change the temperature in the jacuzzi and there was bird droppings

Positive: Andrea, the owner, was very helpful. When there was an accident on the main road, he gave us an alternate route that Google Maps and Waze didn’t show. He stayed in contact throughout our stay. The apartment is wonderful, with a large garden for our dogs, a jacuzzi, and a comfortable interior. The location is great—close to the beach, morning-run friendly, with nearby restaurants and a grocery store.

Negative: The AC is only in the living room, so the bedroom feels less cooled, though it was still fine. A table and chairs with an umbrella outside would be nice, but minor. Still a 10/10
