Positive: Clément is a really responsive and kind host. He responded quickly and was there to help when we needed it. The location of the apartment was excellent for visiting Ferney-Voltaire (beautiful town with a brilliant market on Saturday mornings). It is also only a 7 minute bus (66) journey to Geneva airport - don't bother with taxi/uber. Lastly, the photos are accurate so no need for me to post any more.

Negative: No issue at all - but I will say this for people with mobility issues - there are 4 steps up to the front door and then 2 x 8 steps to the apartment. I knew this before I went so it was no surprise. I carried my Mam's wheelchair up and down each time and she could walk the stairs slowly. If you cannot walk it would be impossible to stay on the 1st floor. They are building a new apartment block across from this block but again this was no issue for us. The location and the apartment outweigh these minor details.

Positive: The location was excellent. Visiting friend and near her home.Also easy access to airport.

Negative: The US uses “first floor” differently (it means first level) and I had to go upstairs when I had a leg injury and was using a cane. Booking.com needs to remind potential guests if “first floor” actually means the second level.

Summary: The flat is very comfortable, clean, and inviting. Host was exceptional.

Positive: The house was great, had everthing we needed. Clement was equally excellent with the one small problem which arose regarding wifi which wasn't his fault as it was a France-wide Orange outage and he gave us a phone from which we could hotspot from. The location to Geneva and the transport links were also great.

Negative: As to be expected with its proximity to the airport, I woke up at 6am most days but I'm a light sleeper and my girlfriend had no such issues with the noise.
