Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Excellent location. Near the Eiffel Tower. Around the corner there is a self-service laundromat, a pizzeria, a burger place, a shop with fresh pastries, and a metro station

Negative: The apartment is very simple, with no extras — but this is not a big problem (there were three of us, and we had enough furniture and basic dishes). However, I was very upset that there was not even a small saucepan. My child likes porridge and boiled pasta for breakfast, and we were unable to cook food for our daughter. There were two frying pans, but it is not safe to use them because the coating is damaged. I had read the reviews and brought a dish sponge, a small bottle of dishwashing liquid, a kitchen cloth, and a small hand towel, because none of this was provided. There were only four large towels and a foot towel near the shower. The shower curtain is new and clean. The main problem is the cleanliness of the bathroom, specifically the toilet (and this could very easily be fixed by a cleaning lady!! but it is not done). The heating radiators in the apartment work well; it was warm. Access to the apartment is very easy. There is a small safe with a key near the door. The owner provides the code for it in the instructions, as well as all the door codes for the entrance. Please note that the apartment is on the third floor, and you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase; there is no elevator. What kept us on edge was the situation with the payment: the apartment fee wasn’t being charged, we contacted the owner, and only one day before check-in were we sent a payment link. We chose this place because of its location close to the tower, the metro, cafes, and shops, but it is not possible to cook in the apartment — you can only reheat food that you buy.
