Summary: Firstly, our host Mohammed was warm, very welcoming and showed us through the apartment with any necessary explanations.Location to Lille’s historic centre and train stations was excellent. The apartment is spacious, very clean. Kitchen was well equipped, also had the basic condiments. Was great having a washing machine and a good iron/ironing board.Some furnishings were a little tired but comfortable. Nevertheless, we loved staying here and felt quite at home. It was also very quiet. Supermarket about 5 to 10 minutes down the road, and a lovely boulangerie 5 minutes down on the corner.We would be happy to stay here again.

Summary: Beautiful apartment with great light, lots of space, and nice amenities. Short walk to the train station (Lille Flanders) that was great for our transit to venues in Lille and to Paris. Nice restaurants and stores nearby. A bonus was having the USA Basketball teams right across the street. Despite a language barrier, I was able to work out meeting up with Mohammed quite easily and all my questions were answered quickly.
