Positive: Traditional French apartment in the very heart of Bordeaux. Loved the very French feeling.

Negative: Nothing really, although the bidet coexisting with the shower seemed unusual to us!

Positive: Beautiful, spacious, character apartment with high ceilings and big windows. Many homey touches like antique furnishings, artwork and books. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to make a meal, and bathroom included more than the usual amenities. Great location, perfect for seeing many of Bordeaux main attractions, shopping and restaurants on foot.

Negative: As other reviewers pointed out there is a bit of a smell in the bathroom that seems to come when the shower hasn’t been run for a while. We put it down to old plumbing in an old city. Not much that can probably be done about it and it really wasn’t a big deal. The only issue we had was that the wifi wasn’t working when we arrived and was not able to be fixed while we were there, which meant we had to use costly international roaming.

Positive: Lovely spacious apartment in a great location. It feels like someone’s home with some lovely furniture and well equipped kitchen

Negative: 60 stairs to climb No Aircon or fans so can get quite hot
