Positive: Wow the view was amazing! The terrace was also incredible and we really enjoyed the time we had there. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Negative: It is important to be prepared to climb some stairs up to get to the place. I recommend to use backpacks, I ahd a wheeled suitcase and it was terrible to get it up the stairs. I think there was no WiFi at the property which was advertised, we never got the password.

Positive: When getting to the apartment, take the tarred road from the end of the market going gradually up to the apartment with less than 50 easy to climb steps right at the end of the path. This is the better path and takes you through streams flowing into the sea and away from the crowd on the market square. The apartment rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, neat and well made. It has all the basic electronic equipment - fridge, microwave, water heater, toaster and sufficient cutlery and crockery for a comfortable stay with family. The entrance leads directly into a kitchen and dining space in a tiny area, as the apartment has maximized space to create 2 bedrooms - 1 with a fantastic view of the sea. There is an outdoor area alongside the apartment that has tables and chairs with a beautiful view of the sea and the town.

Negative: There are 2 ways to access the apartment and if you don't know better you will take the 200 odd steep steps up from the town to the apartment. With bags this is quite the trek. Cupboards in the bedroom are filled with sheets and towels and used to store things from the owner so there is not much space to keep stuff. The apartment and furniture are slightly dated and the apartment has a slightly musty smell. It's quite challenging to find power outlets to connect the kitchen equipments like the microwave and water heater. The power outlets are quite few and plugging something in requires some rearrangement of furniture or placing the equipment on the floor.

Negative: The number of outside chairs needs to be increased.

Summary: Fabulous weekend. The apartment is up quite a steep climb, but the view is so worth it.

Positive: Fantastic view, it’s a walk uphill to the apartment so suggest taking light luggage but the view from the apartment is just awesome
