Summary: The view is amazing and the place is very clean. The balcony is a great place to people watch and have some wine or Presecco. The stairs are a bit rough... but we're older and out of shape. We actually appreciated the exercise. The neighborhood is super charming. We would definitly come back!

Summary: We loved our stay so much! When we arrived we were given clear instructions on where to walk and who to meet. Elisa was the lady and she was in the square waiting to show us to the apartment because it would be almost impossible to find it with Google Maps. Elisa was very helpful and gave us a full run down on the property before leaving us to it. Elisa even said we could help ourselves to any supplies there such as washing liquid, sugar, oil etc. Very helpful. Amazing service! The place itself is obviously very old but fully renovated for maximum comfort. But be aware there is no lift and the apartment is at the top so you need to be able to get your luggage up 5 flights of stairs. The beds were comfy and the area was super quiet so great for families. There was air con in every room and the balcony was spacious and lovely for outdoor dining at the table. Our son befriended a gecko on the balcony - it was there for our whole stay. We loved the view over the church, square and canal. The kitchen was functional but could do with a few more cups and a bread knife! Great to have a dishwasher. Good shower and washing machine. The washing rack was a bit broken but the washing dried so quickly in the summer sun. Of all the places we stayed in Europe, this one was by far the best. Five stars ⭐️
