Island is mostly covered by forests and the rest is dotted with fields, vineyards and small villages. The property offers free private parking, reservation is not required. Summary: Autumn on Island MljetWe stayed in the apartment at the end of October/,beginning of November - off-season period (no tickets for Park entrance), and it was perfect! Few people on the island, wonderful warm weather seasoned by the hospitality of the owners were a real hit, We didn',t get the apartment we reserved (but another smaller one in the same house) and we had some problems at check-in, but all this was overshadowed by the kindness of the hosts - from local tangerines, home-baked cakes, all the information regarding the ferry (on the day of the planned on the way back, the weather got bad and the ferries stopped running, and the hosts immediately informed us about this and let us know that we can stay longer and not to worry), The apartment is in a beautiful location in the National park itself, from the terrace there is a unique view of the bay, there is a grocery shop nearby, a number of trails start next to the house - for walking and for cycling, You won',t regret it if you stay here - all recommendations!
