Positive: The property is beautiful. In an old stone building that was well renovated. It is located a short walk from the village center. You can catch a bus to Kotor and Perast right there - the ride takes about 40minutes. The host is very responsive and helpful. She even offered us a ride one morning to Perast.

Negative: The apartment is a bit small for 4 adults, the living room/kitchennette/dining table is really just a small room with no real sofa. However, with kids it was okay and we did not mind it.

Positive: A charming apartment! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern with a nice walk-in shower, plenty of living space, and a handly little kitchenet. We also had the use of the pool, a bigger kitchen, and communal sitting areas in and outdoors. The staff was very accommodating and arranged airport transportation for a reasonable fee. I was staying for a race in the bay, and it was just a short walk to the beach. I would definitely stay again if I return to the area.

Positive: Our accommodation in Risan was spotless with fantastic communal areas that made relaxing a real pleasure. The kitchenette in our unit was small but perfectly adequate, and the larger communal kitchen was ideal for preparing meals. The beds are very comfortable. The pool was a true highlight—absolutely fabulous, especially when lit up at night, creating a lovely atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better: right on the oldest street in Montenegro, full of charm and history. Getting around was easy with a bus stop right at the end of the street, providing quick access to other nearby towns and attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to help. If you prefer a quieter, less touristy experience than nearby Kotor, Risan is the perfect choice—peaceful, authentic, and utterly delightful.

Negative: Be mindful its a narrow street driving upto the accommodation. Nothing negative it was all fabulous.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable beds. Nice to have the small kitchenette to make coffee and some small dinners. Nice location in Risan close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Negative: Air conditioning was not very strong and did not reach bedrooms - only in the main living space. We were there during a June heat wave and it was still hot at night. Parking was a bit challenging as it was full when we arrived (it is street parking but in front of the unit… with about 15-20 spaces)

Positive: Absolutely beautiful place, quiet but with direct access to restaurants, Ice Cream and the Beach. It’s got a great little pool and a Terrace with view of the Mountains and Bay. The Host Natasa speaks good English and together with her daughter they made my stay exceptional. Great Breakfast and a lovely airy spacious room with everything I could have wanted.

Negative: Nothing.
