A newly built 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the peaceful and historic village of Prcanj.
This well equipped apartment offers comfort and proximity to the beach & town amenities. Prcanj is an idyllic, tranquil place and this location is perfect for a family holiday, or a relaxing holiday base, from which to explore the rest of Montenegro.
The apartment is large, comfortable and airy; central, and very close to the beach. The bedrooms are spacious, with the master bedroom enjoying the benefit of an en-suite bathroom. A large balcony offers plenty of opportunity for relaxing and al-fresco dining.
A wide entrance corridor leads to the master bedroom on the left (king size bed, wardrobe, en-suite bathroom) and the second bedroom on the right (two single beds, wardrobe). Further on, the corridor leads to the large, open-plan living - dining room, kitchen, balcony and the main bathroom . The balcony is large and can be accessed from the kitchen and the living room. The apartment can sleep up to 5 people but smaller groups and couples are welcome. With a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a furnished terrace this is a great holiday home. Prcanj sea-front, with its lovely intimate beaches, is only 5 minutes' walk away, and all town amenities are nearby. Prcanj is an idyllic, tranquil air spa, and former fishing village. It's famous for its air quality , particularly for people with respiratory problems, due to the lush pine and chestnut forests on the hills above the town. It has beautiful old, renaissance architecture and you'll have a feeling of time slowing down to make your holiday more enjoyable... everything is relaxed in this part of Kotor Bay. Step back in time, unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
Prancj has several restaurants including the Hotel Splendido with its waterfront terrace where non residents can enjoy a cocktail or a meal. If you prefer to eat in, there are bakeries and markets in the village, or a much larger daily market in Kotor which makes an ideal morning walk to gather supplies. There are several family friendly restaurants in what is a friendly and relaxed village. It is also home to the stunning Church of our Lady. The apartment is 10 minutes drive from the walled city of Kotor with its plentiful bars and restaurants. Designated parking and water tank. As well as being a relaxing coastal location it also makes an excellent base for travelling around Montenegro with a nearby bus station, and taxi or boat tours to many other towns in Montenegro.

Summary: Good general impression, not far from Kotor in beautiful surroundings of the bay. Clean and decently equipped, en-suite and separate bathroom are useful. Reasonable space in lounge and kitchen areas and long balcony for sunny evenings (though we didn't get too many of them in mid April!) Hire car needed to reach other towns - Kotor is a flat walk of one hour plus, dodging traffic. Be prepared for narrow roads and tricky access. We used parking bay 4/11. Outside apartment block looks a bit tired (basically just needs fresh paint), but inside is perfectly fine. Furnishings and beds comfortable and clean. Property manager Vesna was easy to contact and responded promptly to any messages. There are eateries in Prcanj within walking distance (10-15 minutes). On the whole, a most enjoyable stay.

Summary: The apartment was quiet, clean and cool and the beds comfortable - my main criteria for a happy holiday - to have a good nights sleep. The master bedroom benefits from being directly opposite the air con unit in the living room, and is kept cooler with an additional fan. The small bedroom is slightly stuffy, but Vesna brought a fan after the first night, which helped. There were a few issues which could have been avoided by a thorough check between guests, that lights and electrical appliances were working. However, Vesna sorted out the problems as soon as she was able. The kitchen facilities are adequate for preparing simple meals and the balcony is a great asset for eating outside. Mosquito repellent is essential in the summer months. Prcanj is conveniently located for Kotor, which is approximately an hour and a quarter walk away or a 15 minute drive. The buses are pretty unreliable and overcrowded, so a car or bike is useful to get around, especially once you’ve mastered the art of driving the very narrow coastal road between Tivat and Kotor, which is extremely stressful but somewhat easier on the stretch between Prcanj and Kotor. The nearest swimming location is literally opposite the road to the flat and there is a small beach a 5 minute walk away. The water seems clean despite the number of boats and cruise ships passing through the bay. The nearest restaurants (Konoba Lanterna and Kafe Centar) were disappointing, but there is a great fish restaurant, on the coastal road towards Tivat, a drive away and reasonably well stocked supermarket at the end of the road. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would probably return to a different location for a second visit to Montenegro.

Summary: We were so impressed with our stay. The property manager was excellent, keeping in touch and getting us our tourist cards. The apartment was very clean and well laid out. Above all, the location was fantastic, Prcanj is beautiful and there were many restaurants and a shop nearby and, of course, the beautiful bay of Kotor. We loved our stay, thank you.

Summary: We spent 4 fabulous days in Prcanj having travelled by car ferry from Bari.The apartment is situated in a very pretty and scenic location some 10 minutes (1Euro) bus ride to the old town.Swimming is within a 100 metres of the apartment and lovely sea front restaurants on the doorstep along with a small local supermarket.Apartment was spacious and well equipped and had all that we needed. Anna was extremely helpful prior to our stay and Vesna the local representative could not have done more for us. Our first visit to Montenegro and we would certainly love to visit again.

Summary: We had a great stay here. Prcanj is a really lovely village with plenty to do. The apartment was clean and had every you need for a relaxing holiday. Anna is a really helpful host and answered all our questions promptly. She was able to help with airport transfers for us too. We’d definitely stay here again.

Summary: Prior to our visit Anna was very helpful with providing us with information and promptly responded to any questions and queries we had. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We mainly self catered and we found that it provided everything we needed . It was in a perfect location for buses into Kotor and to Tivat. The local supermarket was well stocked and with friendly helpful staff who answered many of our questions in perfect English ! To be able to walk to the beach within a few minutes was a pleasure and what a view we had. The balcony was much in use at mealtimes and also just to soak up the scenery and peacefulness of the surroundings. We really felt at home here and we were always happy to come back to our apartment at the end of the day. I would certainly recommend this apartment and this pretty town that sits by the sea, We plan to return and felt it was one of the best holidays we have had. So thank you Anna and also thank you to Marty who showed great patience on our arrival ! See you again soon !
