Summary: We have returned to Montelparo, for the third time and rented apartment in this amazing building and village. The apartment is nice, and a saltwater pool in the beautiful surroundings. The village has everything you need and good restaurants. We are coming back. Carina and Roger

Summary: We have just come back from renting this apartment last week. Although it is small it is fully equipped and a little bit quirky in design. The sheer joy however is the outside space. It has a private little terrace for dinner in the evening and a huge communal terrace and large swimming pool with the most stunning view. The pool is lit at night so you can enjoy a swim at any time. All of the pool landscaping and furniture is off an extremely high quality making lazy days by the pool very luxurious. It is the perfect place to unwind. The village is small and peaceful but all the local people were extremely welcoming. It has a surprising good little general store stocking quite a range of gluten free products which was great for me, a really nice cafe run by lovely Martina who met us when we arrived, a bank, a pizzeria(not gluten free), a restaurant, a post office and great parking. The nearest big supermarket is at Communanza which is about 20 minutes in the car. A car is really essential for exploring the local area which is mainly rural with lots of old hilltop towns. Bernd the host was extremely helpful with any questions I had before and during our stay and replied very promptly. I would highly recommend this apartment if you like to relax and unwind and enjoy the staggering beauty of Italy.

Summary: We visited the apartment for a week in June 2019. This is a lovely apartment. It's not large but is very well equipped and comfortable, with it's own private terrace area. There is also access to a large, shared area with a pool, which has lots of space and fantastic views - the photos on the web site show how beautiful it is. Although it's within a village, it's also very private and you don't feel overlooked. All areas are maintained to a very high standard. Montelparo itself is a lovely little village - there are a couple of cafe/bars and a restaurant, as well as a well equipped small, general store, useful if you're going to cook for yourself. You really need a car if you're going to discover the local area and there is lots to see - it's about a 45 minute drive to both the sea and the Sibillini mountains . We also enjoyed visiting the local towns and villages, which gave a real feeling of being in Italy. I've used HomeAway on several occasions and this is certainly one of the best apartments we've stayed in, both with regard to the standard of the accommodation and the location itself. I would definitely recommend.

Summary: Casa Moma is a delightful apt in a sensitively converted old stone house in a delightful hilltop village . The village has an excellent local shop , bar as well as a small boutique hotel with restaurant and within 15-20 mins drive there are a wide range of excellent places to eat. The apt has access to a shared pool and beautiful terrace area with amazing views to the Sibillini mountains. In summary this is a great base for a couple wanting to enjoy this wonderful part of Italy in a charming and unspoilt location. Bernd the owner who speaks excellent English is very helpful and cannot do enough to make sure guests have acesss to verything they need

Summary: My husband and I loved Bernd’s apartment in Montelparo and would definitely recommend it to a couple looking for a peaceful, romantic and beautiful location. The facilities were great (no washing machine and the WiFi was temperamental, but neither a huge problem) for cooking in or relaxing outside. As the weather was great we also spent time by the pool which was beautifully kept and had amazing views. There was easy parking and Montelparo was a great base to explore the local area. We were well looked after and have many fond memories of our holiday.

Summary: This was our second year we hired the property but this time the bigger apartment. We had a really nice visit last year and had high expectations for this year. Bernd has created a real gem and is very service minded and together with his local contacts everything runs smoothly and without hassle. If you are a couple the smaller apartment is perfect with a small concluded own terrace. If you like us this year have some visitors or is a family the bigger with 2 bedrooms are perfect. There is for the two apartments (and for the owners) a common big terrace and a pool, both with a view that is spectacular. Everything is in top condition and really well planned. The town of Montelparo is a perfect spot if you are looking for the genuine and calm Italy and during the summer, the community has several small feasts with food and entertainment. We can just say that it was this year even better than we remembered and ca gladly recommend this property.
