Summary: We spent a lovely last minute holiday here in May. The apartment was very spacious and clean and the owners kindly collected us from the station in Gallipoli on arrival. Baia Verde was very quiet at this time and we walked to the supermarket on the edge of Gallipoli, as the local shops were closed. We also used the train to get in to Gallipoli and back. The beach is a stones throw away . We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Summary: "We have just come back from the wonderful stay at Gallipoli. The appartment was not so new but enough equipped for our needs (especially full linen, washing machine, solar parasol for the beach, bicycle etc). The landlord kindly came to pick us up to the train station and brought the child table chair for us! We stayed the first several days without car. But we could manage all and stayed rather without stress. When we wanted to go to the historic center of Gallipoli, we called taxi. Anyway only residence car and taxi can enter in the historic center. There are two small supermarkets in the center of Baia Verde and they do also delivery service. ( but the begining of the June they have still less fresh product. About 1km from the apartment there is larger supermarket, which you can go by a bicycle of the apartment) . Anyway there is a great value to come to for its long sand beach. It is like Hawaii or more!!! It was pity that the zone and beach is less organized for small children (no park, no big toys at the beach) but our kids enjoyed the same. "

Summary: "Very friendly and helpful family. Helped in direction and description of the appartment and local area......... An ideal location as it's really very close to an amazing beach and water front.......it also saves a small fortune in parking payments or parking spaces as the area can be very busy. Lovely beach, lots to do in the evenings (small drive away), amazing restaurants......and a lovely apartment.......thank you very much we enjoyed ourselves completely."

Summary: "The apartment has everything you need and are very close to the beautiful beach. The Rollo family are really nice people. Be aware that it says that it is 1 km to the towncenter. This is maybe were the town begins and not the old town were you probably want to go, it`s a rather long walk if you try that, but possible. Gallipoli is a very nice town were you can eat the best seafood ever."

Summary: "Many thanks to family Rollo for the hospitality. They are really very good peoples. Apartment in the perfect conditions, real distance to the long (more 5 km) sand beach about 150 m. There was some small shops in Baia Verde but I recommend to visit Gallipoli for shopping. You can buy freshest fish in small market near the old city. In case of bad weather apartment is a good starting point to discover Puglia. You can easy rich the apartment by car from road SS101. I spend a very good time in the apartment."
