The apartment is located on the ground floor of the listed building, which was built around 1905. The entire property was renovated in the mid-1990s in accordance with the protection of historical monuments and adapted to contemporary living standards.
The apartment consists of a spacious dining room with a clear view of the dam, as well as the living room. Furthermore, our guests have a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom with a separate toilet.
We have designed the living room so that an adult can comfortably be seated on the pull-out couch, so that the apartment can accommodate a total of three people. A children's travel bed is also available.
A TV with DVD player is in the living room. We are also available to our guests with advice and support and are happy to assist when it comes to organizing hiking tours.

Summary: A wonderful quiet and well situated ground floor appartment. The owners live on the floor above. The location is excellent, close to the reservoir and it’s retaining wall for easy access to walking trails and within walking distance of the Netto supermarket. Walking maps are provided. Marcus speaks excellent English. I can recommend this rental for couples who love to walk and anyone wishing to escape the crowds of August.

Summary: My partner and me were looking for a place that was quiet and comfortable, and with lots of nature to make long walks with our dog. This place exceded our expectations. It is a beautiful house alongside a beautiful lake and nice old water dam from 1902. The appartement is nice and clean. It consists of remarkably spacious rooms with a simple but very tastefully furnished interieur, instantly giving a homely feel. There is a garden with a nice terrace with lots of sun. The garden is also connected to the water dam, so you can walk on it. Very nice for a small evening stroll. The hosts (a couple) are very friendly and helpful. Not too pushy, but very relaxed. They know a lot about the area and give good advice about nice walking routes. The location itself is great for walking, because there are so many walking trials nearby. There are a lot of beautiful forests, lakes and large green meadows. There are walking maps available in the appartement. The map of the direct surroundings is excellent and up-to-date, the others are older but still ok. I can absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quietness but also comfort. For people with (large) dogs, it is the best place imaginable. Our dog had the best time ever, and so did we!
