Positive: I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Apartment Durmitor! The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Black Lake, with an amazing mountain view from the balcony and beautiful stars at night. The apartment was spotless, cozy and had everything we needed. The bed with anatomical pillows and cotton sheets was incredibly comfortable! The room temperature was just perfect! Milos was a fantastic host — very welcoming, helpful and full of great local tips. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place! ❤️⛰️

Positive: The location was amazing, quiet and convenient, it was super easy to find thanks to the great instructions provided by Miloš.
Negative: Miloš was a very good host and our first point of contact. His hospitality was impeccable, and we really appreciated how welcoming and helpful he was. Unfortunately, despite this, the apartment itself left us quite disappointed. The location is excellent and we genuinely believe the property has a lot of potential, but there are several important aspects that need improvement. The first and most unpleasant issue was the bathroom, which had a very strong and persistent bad smell. We even bought an air freshener ourselves to try to improve it, but unfortunately it did not help. The bed was also disappointing, as it was actually a sofa bed rather than a proper bed. The fitted sheet provided was too small for the mattress and kept coming off throughout the night. On top of that, the duvet was not large enough to comfortably cover two people, so we were not able to stay properly covered during the night. The window coverings were also not proper curtains, but rather pieces of fabric placed over the windows, which did not block the light effectively. Finally, the shower floor did not appear to be cleaned thoroughly, as there were visible orange marks and stains. Once again, we think this apartment has a lot of potential, especially because of its great location and Miloš’s excellent hospitality. However, in its current condition, we unfortunately do not feel that the accommodation was worth the price we paid for our stay.
Summary: Great host and location, but the apartment needs improvement

Positive: Milos the host was extremely welcoming and friendly. He is very passionate about the area and has lots of suggestions on how best to see it and make the most of your trip. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable, there is a large shower area in the bathroom. Mountain View’s from the terrace and it is possible to walk in to town, it takes about 30 minutes. Milos was very responsive and gave excellent information before our arrival, including a video on how to find the apartment which was very useful.
Negative: It was perfect for our trip, but it is furnishings are practical rather than lavish.
Summary: Milos the host is the star here. He wants everyone to enjoy the Durmitor National Park!
