Positive: This is a comfortable and spacious first floor two bed apartment, with two sunny balconies, both with pleasant views. It is accessed by stairs or a lift and is beautifully presented with quality furniture and accessories. The kitchen area has everything you could need including a hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing mc and air fryer. In the lounge / dining area there’s a large tv with English channels & Sky sports, and another tv in one of the two double bedrooms. The wi-fi seemed good, good but the tv did freeze now and again. There are two bathrooms ( one en-suite with a bath ), and one with a shower. If you open the patio doors on both of the balconies there’s a nice breeze through the centre of the apartment, which is lovely on warmer days. There are two separate sunny pool areas in the gardens, which are both very nice and well maintained, with the larger pool even having a jacuzzi at one end ! …an extra Wow ! ( there are pool towels that you can use in the apartment, and sun beds by the pools ). The apartment is in a large complex, but it was very quiet during our stay and some days we had the pool all to ourselves…😁😎

Negative: It’s around a 20 minute steady walk down the steep hill to the nearest bar / restaurants (+ a small shop), and then another 10 minutes walk further down to the marina ( lots of bars and restaurants here), which is ok if you can walk that far. There are taxis available from here to get you back up the hill for around €8 if needed. We had a car, but it can be difficult to park around the marina area. (Parking at the apartment is no problem). There are some very good large supermarkets in the area, but you need a car to get to these, although some will deliver online orders. Manilva is in a quieter area of the Costa de Sol, around an hour from Malaga airport and half hour from Gibraltar. There are many expats living in this area, and quite a lot of building work in progress. ( as in most of Spain !! ). Manilva village is a couple of miles up the hill and is occupied mainly by working Spanish families and has limited tourism facilities or attractions, but it does have a couple of bars, restaurants and some great views.

Summary: Fantastic comfortable apartment, with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 pools.

Positive: Beautiful location . Lovely apartment with everything we needed for a great holiday. Our host was always available to contact if we had any questions. Really enjoyed our break and had perfect weather

Negative: Distance from the main port was a little long without a car was a good walk down every day but we enjoyed the exercise and the views and used local taxi service which were very good and reasonably priced

Positive: Excellent appartment , great size , two lovely balconies. Linda is a great host extremely helpful and informative. Pool area not too busy , plenty of sunbeds. Easy to get a home delivery from Mercadona supermarket as we did not hire a car. Walked down hill to Duquesa port took us about 25 minutes. Plenty of bars and restaurants . Mirror Mirror has a happy hour everyday from 2pm till 6pm , 2 euros a pint , 3.5 euros for a vodka and coke. Walked to Sabinillas and had a nice walk back to the port along the beach front stopping for a few drinks. Used to get a taxi back from the port as it was up hill back to the appartment .Taxi cost 6.50 euros. You can get a bus to Estepona 1.35 euros each way, it took 20 minutes which is worth a visit , lovely beach .
