The apartment "Chambertin" is located on the 1st right floor (street side) of 5 bis rue Lamonnoye, building located in the historic center of Dijon, 100 meters from the Palace of the Dukes and the Tourist Office.
With a total area of 66 m2, the "Chambertin" includes
- a large bedroom with a 180x200 cm double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a small dining table and a TV corner
- a large bathroom with a walk-in shower
This apartment is located in the building adjacent to the Hôtel des Ducs. You are independent but benefit from the hotel services if you wish. We took great pleasure in renovating this 68m2 apartment located in the historic center of Dijon and we will be happy to welcome you and advise you.
We offer private and secure parking (€ 13 / day subject to availability) or entry tickets to the Trémouille public car park (€ 10 / day) located 500 meters from the apartment.
Breakfast is offered from 6.30 am to 10 am for € 12 / day (adults) and € 6 (children from 6 years) in the adjacent building. Breakfast is free for children under 6. We ensure that it is very complete and qualitative. We will also be happy to advise you on the good restaurants located near the apartment.
We invite you to discover the magnificent historic center of Dijon, listed as World Heritage by Unesco. The easiest way is to follow the "owl route" which passes in front of the apartment. We particularly like the Maison Millière, the Hôtel de Vogüé, the Square des Ducs, the Place de la Liberation, the Tour Philippe Le Bon, the district of the courthouse, the Saint Philibert church, the Saint-Bénigne cathedral, Halles, Place François Rude, Rue des Forges and Notre-Dame.
The reception and key collection are provided by the reception team of the Hôtel des Ducs, located at 5 rue Lamonnoye, in the building adjacent to the apartments..

Summary: The VRBO apartment in Dijon is located inside of the Hotel des Ducs in the heart of old Dijon. The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and buy wine! The apartment was very modern and well stocked. The king bed was extremely comfortable. We were walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shops, historical attractions, and the famous Les Halles Market. Future renters should be aware that the apartment is located on a street with a lot of traffic and people walking by which can be quite loud, even after midnight. Also, the large bath and dressing room had an odor that smelled a bit like sewer gas. We had to keep the door separating this room from the living quarters closed at all times. There is no free parking in Dijon, so visitors with a car will need to find and pay for parking which can be difficult in the evening. The meters utilize the Flowbird Parking App so you can pay for parking remotely with your phone. We would stay there again once the sewer gas smell is resolved. Jamie and Sherrie

Summary: Absolutely amazing apartment situated in the centre of Dijon where we would easily stay without going out and exploring Dijon as the flat is so nicely decorated that you just want to enjoy it:-) However it would be pity as you've got at your door step everything what you can possibly think of, culture, museums, sightseeings and the whole street with affordable restaurants including amazing choice of Michelin restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend this apartment and I hope to be back at some point again as well. Thank you for letting us stay. M.

Summary: We added Dijon to our itinerary on a bit of a whim, and it's a good thing we did! It is a wonderful stop if you are into history, architecture, and food. And this apartment, associated with Hotel des Ducs, was an ideal base for our three nights. Set on the edge of the historic pedestrian district, it is extremely spacious with a full kitchen (though the local cuisine was too good to bother eating in), sitting area, and sizeable bathroom. The staff at Hotel des Ducs were welcoming and extremely helpful to getting the most of our stay in Dijon. Highest recommendation.
