Positive: We were two couples staying in the two bedroom apartment, which was perfect. Both rooms and bathrooms were of good size and we loved the terrace overlooking the Cala—perfect for enjoying breakfast and wine at sunset. The apartment was easy to find, clean and we appreciated it provided a washing machine and a lovely pool. There is free parking around the complex (while we stayed in mid October, we opted not to move the car while we were there—not sure what it might be like in high season). There is a small market nearby (easy to walk to) and loved that it was a short walk down steps that lead to beautiful Cala Ferrera. Walking through the beach to other side (up some additional steps) was a little short cut that lead toward other cala’s and the town of Cala d’Or (15 min) with plenty of restaurants/bars etc. Communicating with apartment contact was easy and we received all information on how to access, keys etc the day of. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Cala d’Or!

Negative: This didn’t affect our stay, but providing an “extra”set of pillows on each bed would be a nice for those who might sleep with more than one. We appreciated there was a roll of toilet paper, plus hand and dish soap provided. A starter kit of a few coffee pods and salt/pepper could have been helpful.

Positive: Noelia, Property Manager was excellent. Great communication and instruction on getting to the apartment and getting the keys were great with photos which made it easy as we arrived in the early hours. She also arranged a taxi for us on departure.great Apartment just a few minutes walk to lots of bars and restaurants...a further few minutes to Call d'Or harbour...a great few days, would recommend..

Positive: Location was excellent.

Negative: We requested to check in 2 hours early, however, got a message on the day stating it would be an extra 35euro. I asked if we could leave our suitcase and was shouted at on the phone saying we had to pay the extra to do that which I declined. An hour later I got a message saying our apartment was ready - I feel the request for extra money was not legitimate. Air con did not work to heat the apartment, no supplies at all, for example salt and pepper.

Summary: Lovely location and apartment views but not great communication.

Positive: Excellent apartment, really comfortable with great views of Cala Ferrera. All the amenities you could need for your stay with the apartment decor completed to a very high standard. Spacious terrace with sun beds plus a balcony off the lounge with table and chairs at the front with great views to the cove.

Negative: The location was a little too far from the centre of Cala D’Or for our personal preference - great if you stay at Cala Ferrera but we tended to go to the other coves and central areas. The shortest route to the centre is via the beach involving a number of steps and a steep slope that would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues although there is a longer route round via the road. The pool area was a little uninspiring so not something that we used. Something to be aware of is the strict check out time of 10.00am with nowhere to store luggage. We had to leave our luggage outside the apartment (as suggested by the host) to be able to get breakfast - fortunately the heavy overnight rain had stopped otherwise we would have had wet luggage. I’m sure it was safe for an hour or so but not something we were totally comfortable doing - something to be aware of, particularly if you have a later flight

Positive: The property looks exactly like the pictures. It’s a lovely spacious apartment with 2 terraces (1 off the main living area & 1 off the main bedroom). The view from the terraces is amazing. The apartment is spacious & has everything you would need. The location is great, just a short walk down the steps to Cala Ferrara Beach which is a lovely cove style beach, calm waters perfect for kids. Noelia the host was so lovely, checked in with us every couple of days via WhatsApp to make sure we were having a nice time. Helped us with taxis to/from the airport too & was just really nice to deal with.
