Summary: You can’t check in early without a fee, possibly even early at all without notifying them. However, you can store your luggage there for free, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. We utilized the laundry facilities and it would’ve been nice if there was even one other machine as there is only one washer and one dryer, but it did the job. The area around the hotel is nice, it’s a short walk to the Don Quixote in Akihabara, and there is a Family Mart right next to the hotel itself. However, I had a large check in bag and a carry on bag and had to lug it up multiple stairs and up a slight hill from the train station, so just be warned that it is a trek from the train station to the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel was just like all the APA locations I stayed at! It was cleaner than the one in Osaka and it was more modern looking. The staff were polite and helpful.
