Positive: Stuart helped arrange our airport transfer and boat taxi. Bani dropped us at our own beach outside the house and Rebecca met us with a big smile and showed us around the house. The house is well stocked. We are a cooking family and was great to have sharp knives and a good range of kitchen equipment. Bani took us to the market for fresh fish and grocery's. Well worth it. A well positioned base to see the sights with a great dive operator a few doors down.

Positive: This place is truely a piece of hidden paradise. Undoubtedly the best place to stay in to Aore Island. I will miss sitting in the varandah in the evening and sipping wine. Stayed 6 nights and the house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We cooked a lot. Loved the bikes as we explored the island and there is a support network of people for water taxies airport transfer etc. Had an excellent stay, we will be back.

Positive: Private and peaceful. Just a few steps to the water for a swim or snorkel. The sea life was plentiful and colourful. Lots of places to sit and admire the view. Locals were amazing and the people directly associated with the property were amazingly helpful.

Negative: A few more towels would have been great, one towel for the week didn’t seem enough when you were in and out of the sea. Glad we brought our sand shoes as the coral on the beach was quite hard getting in and out of the water taxis.

Summary: Loved it. A great week relaxing in paradise. Will look forward to staying again as soon as we can.

Positive: Spacious stone house, well-equipped and clean. Easy parking outside the property, off the road. Lovely views of the local countryside. Great little above-ground pool around 6 x 3 metres. Very private garden with sunbeds.

Negative: Shower in bath was poor. Needs an urgent upgrade. No hanging rails in wardrobes for clothes.

Summary: Very private space and pool not overlooked. Serene and bucolic location next to a beautiful chateau.

Positive: We loved that the beach out front was shallow enough for the kids to play. The games, movies and books were all great as the weather did turn.

Negative: It would have been handy to have been more informed about the incoming weather. Especially when it was quite extreme.

Summary: This is the best holiday destination, will return!!

Positive: Very private and beautiful little house in the French countryside. A perfect place to calm down and relax. The pool kept us cool and the garden was great for our dog to run around and play. Lovely little towns, wineries and restaurants all nearby (by car) for the rare occasion that we left the house. Berangere was a great host and quite a witty!
