Positive: We absolutely LOVED staying at Ao Marama! The view, the house, the hot tub, the location were all incredible. We were met by Duan and given a tour then left to ourselves. PERFECT!

Positive: We stayed in the 2 bedroom lodge, the location is incredible. If you’re looking to unplug and enjoy the nature, this is a wonderful place to do so. Elizabeth and Duan are lovely and warm hosts, we appreciated their genuine attention and desire to make us feel comfortable.

Negative: We had no problem with the walk down to and back from the beach, might be a challenge for some people with mobility issues. Best chat with the owners

Positive: Excellent location, especially watching sunrise from the cottage we stayed and also from the sun deck. Host is extremely nice, show us around the property, told us which track to use to go to Wharariki Beach in order to enjoy the views better, and even gave us some freshly baked apple cake to enjoy upon arrival. Thanks so much!

Positive: Location in the bush. Very friendly welcome and introduction. Some cabins have ensuite. Mine didn't so it was a short walk to shared bathroom. The shared kitchen was open fronted to the magnificent view. The view of the dawn was fantastic. Short drive to town. There is an option to walk through the bush instead of drive. Collingwood is an interesting small town.

Negative: Nothing to not like.

Negative: Having to walk in the dark on a narrow bush path quite a way to the toilet although there was wifi it was only in a place I couldn't find and with no t.v and a sore leg I only stayed 2 nights not thec3 I paid for
