Positive: This resort is an absolute paradise on the island of Tablas. I’ve stayed at many resorts and hotels around the world, but I have never encountered such warm, wonderful, and friendly hospitality — nor such a perfect place to relax. First and foremost, Matthias and Maribel Brand are wonderful, well-educated people who help with everything and are ready to resolve any issue that arises—or might arise—during your stay on the island. They are always there when you need them. The resort is set in a truly stunning location. The rooms are beautiful — bright and impeccably clean. The pool is the best I have ever seen, even compared to those in five-star hotels. And the food is absolutely wonderful — a delight that I would recommend to every gourmet. I wholeheartedly recommend this unforgettable place to everyone who loves nature, and I believe it is truly a hidden gem on the island of Tablas — one that has yet to be discovered by the rest of the world. Will definitely return.

Positive: All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and helpful. They had a baby Goat called Oreo very friendly plus 2 other goats too. The accommodation was excellent with excellent air-conditioning and a fridge with water and beers if you wanted. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with hot water. The food was excellent and good value for money. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. The area was lovely and peaceful and not far into the small town, but plenty of local run shops. The hotel will hire you a moped to explore the island. They also arranged to take us to the ferry. We would definitely stay there again very peaceful and relaxing

Positive: The rooms are individual buildings. They consist of a bedroom and shower room/toilet. The room has aircon and a fridge. We had a patio area with table and seating. They only have 4 or 5 well spaced out so you don't feel overlooked. There is an open bar area next to the pool with plenty of fans to keep you comfortable. The food is amazing. A good menu with plenty of choice. I wasn't very hungry in the evening so just went for the home made burger. It was huge! I am nearly 60 years old, and I swear it is the best burger I've had in my life. The site itself is beautiful. Clean and well kept. We found it a little hard to find, but we weren't using local transport, and locals we spoke to soon got us on the right track. Good wifi throughout. Staff and owner are lovely and made us feel really welcome. We were sad to leave.

Negative: I would have liked a television in the room.

Positive: Beautiful place to relax with lovely pool. Rooms are clean with good ac. There is also motorbike hire as well and everything on the menu is delicious and resonbily priced. Best of all the staff are helpful warm and welcoming.

Positive: Great accomodation facilities - modern room - fantastic pool and high quality restaurant - we were able to rent a bike from the owner . Mattias and Maribel are great hosts and we highly recommend Annabel’s as a great place to stay - make sure you go to Binucot beach which is only 3 km away

Positive: Annabel's resort is a hidden gem in the wilderness of Ferrol Province. More valuable then jade, to the weary traveler searching for respite during a long journey. I cannot put into words how lucky by wife and I were to have had the good fortune of staying at Annabel's resort. The owners are totally hands on in every aspect of their resort. From greeting guests to the food purchases and preparations, overseeing the facilities, and guests they are always making sure everything is absolutely perfect 👌. I will be honest. I had the best cheese burger in my life there. I'm from USA. We know our burgers!! 😆 When I inquired about his source of meat. He replied he imports from Brazil and grinds the meat himself. Anyone who spends that much time, money and effort of a burger. Tells you you're dealing with a professional from the food and service industry. That won't take shortcuts to safe on costs. They even drove us to the pier so we could catch our ferry on time. How many resort owners do that? I ask you? Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. The food in outstanding as well as the staff. The room was 100% clean as was the linens and towels. Annabel's a 5 Star resort ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ that's affordable to anyone!! Thank you Annabel's!! Positive: The restaurant is amazing though a bit pricey. All the food we had there was on point- good ingredients and a lot of care was put into each dish. The staff and especially the couple that owns the place were friendly and hospitable. They were always ready to help you out and answer questions. Everything was clean, and the pool was amazing.

Negative: The place is not easy to reach. This makes for difficulties getting to- and especially from there. If you were to use this as a home base to explore the island and unwilling to drive a scooter it would be both tough and expensive to get around. They do offer shuttle services, but those are relatively expensive.
