Positive: I love the location, very private, quiet and 30 seconds walk to private residential beach.

Negative: One bathtub wasn't draining when we arrived, the second bathroom could use some remodeling, but all-together was definitely improved from our previous stay, few years ago.

Negative: No air conditioning, it was too hot at night, and there were real cockroach and other insect problems

Positive: The location was absolutely perfect, directly across the street from one of the best spots on Anini Beach. Our family spent 4x more to stay on the ocean side and we were less than a 1 minute walk away. We were very happy with the size of the house and the private yard. Loved the outdoor shower as well!

Negative: We usually sleep on a firmer mattress so we found both beds to be uncomfortably soft. This was not a big issue as we did not come to Kauai to sleep! We slept on the larger bed in the living room, and it was a nice setup with the sliding doors to provide privacy if sharing the house with others. We couldn't get some of the tv remotes to work, but not a big issue since we spent most of our time out at the beach!

Summary: Perfect location, great house, would stay here again!

Positive: The location is absolutely fantastic, private and within a few steps from the beach. Chickens and roosters cross the backyard every day.

Negative: Half of the house seems recently remodeled, while the other half could use some updates, such as the added bathroom, some windows missing slats, or a carpet replacement. There’s a moldy smell trapped in the carpet due to high humidity and shaded location. Fans and dehumidifiers were working all the time, but not making much difference.

Summary: Very pleasant stay, we’ll return to this location
