Anikuenea is a recently refurbished 19th-century farmhouse, located in Lesaka (Navarra), in the Baztan-Bidasoa area, in the heart of the Bidasoa Greenway. We have two apartments:
The first, Goienta (UATR0247) (with the category of TWO KEYS), is an apartment with capacity for four people (+ an optional extra bed). Goienta is equipped with a beautiful kitchen-living room with wood stove, two bedrooms (one with double bed and the other double), a bathroom (with hairdryer and towel radiator) and a large terrace (with garden furniture), exceptional for sunbathing or dining quietly.
The second apartment is a studio called Anbita (UATR0334) where two people can be accommodated (+ one extra). The tourist studio is brand new (completely renovated in 2014) and has been decorated keeping the rustic taste of the house, but combined with modern details. Anbita is composed of a room of 27 m2 where the bedroom (with a 1.50 bed), the living room with TV32 ", a modern kitchen equipped with washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and everything you need ( toaster, blender ...) and a small bathroom with a hairdryer. The studio is spacious and very bright.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and Maddalen looked after us very well over a period of almost two weeks. The appartment couldn't have been better equipped, was beautifully furnished and is in a very interesting and physically beautiful location with loads of places around to go sightseeing and hiking. It's only a few kilometres from France and we used the opportunity to go to Biarritz and other villages on that side of the frontier, as well as to cities and villages on the north coast of Spain. The Basque country is very interesting and we had a wonderful time and Maddalen's appartments are a wonderful to explore it from. Her English isn't great, but her daughter speaks a bit and their hospitality is second to none. Una experiencia buenísima y disfrutamos de Navarra y Euskadi muchísimo.......
