The Cottage is an excellent base for exploring historic Scotland and is superbly situated for outdoor activities including walks, cycling, climbing and canoeing. It is also extremely easy to reach, being around one hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, only 20 minutes from the M9 and is only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Callander and all its amenities.
The solid stone walls and traditional design give an attractive, cosy and secluded atmosphere. The ground floor accommodation comprises, a large, well equipped, dining/kitchen area, a double bedroom, utility room, and entrance vestibule. Stairs lead to the first floor accommodation, which comprises a bright living room, and well appointed, twin bedroom with ‘en-suite’ bathroom. Both upstairs rooms have a spectacular outlook, over the rooftops of Callendar, towards the majestic slopes of Ben Ledi. The main bathroom is located on the ‘half-landing’. All windows are double glazed and there is gas central heating throughout. To the front of the cottage is a small, enclosed, peaceful garden.

Summary: I found the owner Karen very helpful and friendly it was a lovely cottage with amazing views of Ben ledi very comfy beds and plenty space in the cottage great location and great place to do sightseeing would definitely recommend some super restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed our week

Summary: A Very welcoming contact through app, we had the chance to book 1 extra day as well which was in our case very welcome. Property was very clean and kitchen was very well equiped. Furniture was clean and plenty room in every room. We did a 2 months trip through England and Scotland and this property was by far the best we had.

Summary: My daughter & I have had a great week in the cottage. Arrived in really cold weather, 5C, to find a really warm & cosy 'home from home'. We were very comfortable & the information folder was exceptional with information for use of the whole house & appliances. Very well appointed & had everything you could wish for. Previous guests had given glowing reports & we added to that ! The area had lots to offer whatever the weather. Very local supermarket great & eating places within a few minutes walk. We visited local woods, waterfalls, nature reserves and attended a local concert in the Kirk on Sunday afternoon. Visited The Highlands, Dunblane & drove the Trossachs route Thank you very much for letting us use your lovely home

Summary: Perfekt and lovely stone teracced house in a quiet byroad of Callander. It has not big but full equiped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a nice living room on upstairs. Callander is a great base to explore Scotland with car from Edinburgh to Loch Ness.
