Positive: Absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous property. You can tell so much care and attention was given to creating the space. The suites were cute and comfortable, the outdoor shower was so refreshing and the grounds and gardens of the property were stunning in the jungle setting. Maria also went above and beyond to save us some breakfast before we left in the morning and it was delicious.
Negative: It took two hours to be checked in to our suite due to no staff on site.

Negative: Breakfast "refill" coffee, and having to pay to get a better one. Pool could be cleaned better - chlorine from pool floater present.

Positive: Jungle location albeit more remote than we thought. Overall site.
Negative: Soft bed and pillows. There were no other guests on 1st night - our bad luck I guess. Difficult communicating with staff on arrival. 2nd night better when a member of the owning family arrived.

Positive: As soon as you step in, you feel immersed in nature and that's what we were looking for. If staying here, prepare yourself for a different stay than in a hotel. We loved the set up, the birds singing in the evening and early morning. The decor!! Enjoyed using the kitchen in the evening. Federico set up the grill for us. Make sure you buy everything before arriving at the hotel.
Negative: It is quite a road, a good 35 minutes from Puerto Morelos. Once the sun sets, it's pitch dark on the road so make sure you arrive earlier and have everything you need for cooking with you as there is nothing close or reachable within 30-35 minutes of driving.

Positive: This place is absolutely BEAUTUFUL! The host and Maria are incredible and very very helpful with tips and recommendations on hand :) Everything is so peaceful, calm and stunning it feels like time would go different there. We loved this place so very much, it was very special.
Negative: That we only booked 2 nights and had to leave so soon :((
