Summary: There was a cigarette bud left in a NON smoking hotel and a bug crawling in the bathroom

Summary: Hotel is clean and reasonably priced. Bed was terribly uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and filled with chopped up foam so they were lumpy. And as my husband put it the toilet is unreasonably short. Most likely would not stay here again.

Summary: Our stay in Racine was hugely disappointing! First, the room we reserved was not the room we got. Understandable. Sometimes when you use a third-party service, you don’t get the kind of room you’d like. When we got to our room, the smell of smoke overwhelmed us. We also had only one towel. A bath towel. No washcloths, no hand towels, no bathmat. We are carrying medicine with us so need a fridge to keep it cool in. There was a fridge in our room but no freezer for our ice packs. And no shelves in the fridge so everything just had to be thrown on the bottom. This was the only hotel on our 11-day trip which we were staying two nights at. It was so disappointing to spend two nights in a room like this! It was tiny! There was only one chair that was so wobbly it might break any minute. We went to Piggly Wiggly and purchased air fresheners. We put one in the bathroom and one in the main room. We left the bathroom fan on the entire time we were there to try to get rid of the weed smell. Also the bathroom light did not work. The light would only come on partially. However the next morning it came on all the way so I guess it’s a bulb in its way out. Final item—-the shower floor is as slippery as ice when you are done taking a shower! This hotel needs major updates/repairs and needs either more people working or better people working. Extremely disappointed in this stay!

Summary: The room was comfortable. The hotel is understaffed, the desk person took time off of mopping the entrance to check me in. The breakfast needed attention. The only coffee available was in a decaf carafe (orange top) that was on a plate with the heat off, so it was cold. The other carafes were empty.

Summary: Nice, clean and comfortable. We came in late after a Brewers game. It was disappointing that the continental breakfast ended at 9 a.m.

Summary: Check in was at 3 but was told by front desk it wasn't ready and wait about ten min, not a issue as I've worked in the hotel industry in every position and was understanding. Fast forward to 315 and was able to check in with a new front desk person all were well and go up the second floor. Our room was the only room without a room number posted outside the room, we set our stuff in the room and left as we had activities planned for the day and when we came back and went to give our kids a bath the water pressure was awful but wasn't complaint worthy at the time when turning on the shower portion the whole shower head slid down the pole it was on and it happened constantly it was difficult for the adults to shower. When we got into bed we realized our sheets hadn't even been changed even though the beds were "made" up. Our sheet had something orange and crusty on it and our sons pillow had the same substance on it. When asked for new sheets the guy working the desk acted like he could care less. The lady the next day got us new sheets and pillowcases and she was terrific and was the only bright spot. Few other incidents but they were miniscule.

Summary: The pool was closed but we were not notified of that. The workout room had no working equipment. The door to our room was in need of repair on both the handle and the safety arm. The floors were not very clean--white socks turned very dirty. A better cleaning system is needed for the hard flooring. Breakfast was basic. A variety of bagels was available, however only butter and jelly were available as spreads--no cream cheese or peanut butter. No fruit or juices. Our mini fridge was not working when we got there. We were pleased with the service we received in getting a new one to the room.
