Positive: This lodge was well organized and the staff there were full of hospitality. The dishes of Mr.Chef were so excellent. Furthermore, you can feed wild monkeys here. The cost-effectiveness was great.

Positive: A very nice simple hotel near the gates of Amboseli Park. The staff were welcoming and responsive - organized a good safari to Amboseli and Tsavo West parks, brought dinner to the room through big mud in the rain. The room and shower were clean. The shower water was hot; the shower had low water pressure, but that's normal for Africa. The terrace of the house offers a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The food was delicious - local East African style food. Google map shows a little wrong way (wrong turn) to the hotel - follow the hotel signs on the road. I recommend coming in daylight, it can be harder to find after dark. You have to take into account that you have to walk about 50 meters from the hotel's main house (reception) to the house - big mud and slippery in the rain, the pedestrian path is ok in the dry. The hotel is surrounded by nature, so be aware that flies, butterflies, etc. come to the light on the terrace in the evening. There is no soap in the room, but it is written in the hotel description. We arrived in the rain but then Africa opened up Kilimanjaro and we had a wonderful few days. Thank you for a nice vacation!

Negative: There were some small holes in the mosquito net. There was only one pair of slippers in the room for two people. The terrace chairs had nails sticking out and I tore my clothes, but the hotel promised to repair the chairs.
