Positive: The area was superb, the cottage was ok

Negative: The cottage was damp and cold when we went into it, it felt as if no one had been in the premises for a while. You could smell the damp every time you went in to the house, there was black mould in quite a few off the rooms, there was a crack in the kitchen floor next to the sink which when I was washing the dishes and moved slightly to my right and my foot caught the raised crack and I fell and hurt my hip, on the cottage being suitable for disabled, I would not recommend this property as there is no grab rails in or outside the house, especially needed in the shower

Negative: It got pretty chilly while we stayed there. It took quite a while to warm the house up.

Positive: Great location for hiking. Note Portree is closest supermarket. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen.

Negative: Kitchen fridge only. No freezer. Fry pan needs replacing. No wifi. Shower a bit tricky to operate. Very expensive for what it is.

Positive: Spectacular location - for sunrise, sunset and everything in between. It was a great starting point for many an enjoyable photographer walk!

Negative: The kitchen / dining room chairs were a little flimsy. Although we all managed okay, they might be a problem for the elderly or overweight.
