Lockwood style cottage with superb views - some say the best in Tairua - with a nice large deck to enjoy them from. And if the weather is poorly, the same views through amazing picture windows. Very tidy and clean but a true bach!
Located 200 meters up Paku the location is close to cafes and beach - easy walking distance.
The house does not have a TV but now has internet (and 4G coverage here is great). But let’s be honest - you don’t come here to spend time on your devices - and the Harbour action is your entertainment, but it’s nice to stay connected.

Summary: Our second time staying at this wonderful property over the New Years period. Stunning views, great proximity to both estuary and ocean beach. Lovely walking up to Mt Paku summit. All you’ll want to do is sit on the deck and watch the world go by! Also spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

Summary: An amazing Kiwi Bach, in a amazing spot overlooking Tairua harbour and Puanui beach. The family loved the view as it changed through the day/evening and spotting stingray cruising the harbour. Our host was always super responsive to any questions we had. Definitely coming back!

Summary: This place was fantastic. The view is actually incredible and the photos really don’t do it justice. Spacious enough for 4 adults (couple and in-laws) and our dog. We throughly enojoyed our stay, so much so we are coming back in January 😁

Summary: Spectacular view at convenient location. Wish we had spent a bit more time at the Bach. Comfortable beds and kitchen is fully equiped. Only improvement suggestion is airing the place out before guest arrival will be perfect.

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay. The location simply cannot be beaten. Walking inside to be confronted with the most amazing view was breathtaking. The property is so cute with everything you need. Very peaceful and completely private. Fantastic restaurant at the foot of the hill, a 2 minute walk. The hosts are wonderful. I was impressed with the detailed instructions supplied by Neil, and the property was lovely and clean and clearly loved and cared for. I would love to visit again and I have already recommended this property to others. Thank you so much for a memorable holiday!

Summary: This was the perfect Bach for our little getaway and the view was even better than the photos! You can tell its a well loved family Bach as it felt very homey and had everything you needed, and more! We didn't bother going for dinner and preferred to stay in using the BBQ and having a wine on the deck. Also very private so we felt we had the space and view to ourselves. Would definitely book again for a group or just the two of us :)
