Summary: His house is in a beautiful area and reasonably close to Nantahala, Smoky Mountains, and other cute little towns. Was also somewhat close to a grocery store, which was convenient.The house was well stocked with linens, included shampoo, soap, and conditioner in the bathrooms. The house was very clean. I could not tell from the pictures, but the kitchen is actually on the first floor and the only living space is on the second floor, which made it challenging to spend time altogether when someone was cooking.The beds were very firm which we didn’t find super comfortable, but was our preference.The kitchen was stocked well with silverware and plates, but definitely needed some additional pots and pans. Based on the location of this cabin, I would imagine most people would be cooking in and need to utilize the kitchen pretty heavily. We had a couple questions while we were there, and the host was super responsive. I’m not sure I would stay there again based on the kitchen location, but it worked out OK for our stay this time.

Summary: The property was lovely. The views were gorgeous and there was plenty of space for the whole family to meet. The kitchen was stocked spacious enough for us to make a Christmas feast and there were multiple indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Gene, the host, was very responsive and available anytime I had questions. He even surprised us with a complimentary early check-in that was greatly appreciated. My family and I had a wonderful stay and would love to return someday.

Summary: The house was beautiful and so was the view! Everything was clean and in order. We really enjoyed our stay. My only concern was the 1.5 mile gravel drive going up to the property. We had some spinning in our Honda Odyssey, but my parents had no problems in their Subaru. Overall I would highly recommend!

Summary: The house was beautiful with amazing views! We had plenty of room with 6 adults and 3 kids. The host, Gene, was incredibly helpful and responsive! The kids loved the the loft and having their own space to hang out, and we all enjoyed the 2nd level porch. We would love to stay at the house again!

Gene, the host, was so good at communicating with us after the uncertainty from Hurricane Helene. The house had everything you could possibly need. We only wish we could have stayed longer
