Positive: We’ve stayed in many lovely holiday cottages in Anglesey and Wales. However, this is, without doubt, our favourite. The views are unbelievable - I could have sat on the terrace and stared at the sea and the wildlife in the meadow all holiday. The facilities are great, everything you need to kick back and relax. The gardens are secure for dogs and ours loved romping around the lawns and watching the bunnies in the meadows. There are several seating and lounging areas around the extensive patios, along with BBQ facilities. There is a laundry/utility area in the garage and a place to pop outdoor shoes, coats, buckets spades etc. The beach is super close - a short stroll down the wild flower strewn pathways and onto a glorious bay, dog friendly and sheltered - or the car park is right next to the beach, should you want to drive. The excellent White Eagle pub is a 10 minute walk/drive away and they welcome (and adore) dogs. The food is divine and the ambience is amazing. Highly rated. The Silver Bay holiday park is next door to the cottage and has a lovely deck bar (very reasonably priced cocktail of the day) and also serving food, again with dog friendly designated areas.

Negative: We adored everything about the property, there is nothing not to love! The only (negligible) feedback is to perhaps consider a change in the wording on the request to strip beds, collect towels for laundry bags, empty bins etc on the day of departure. I currently have an injured shoulder and my mum is disabled, so for a 10am exit it was a little challenging! It’s such a minor observation, but for less mobile visitors to perhaps consider amending the instructions to ‘if you feel able’, would make the world of difference.

Positive: A fantastic stay at this house, extremely comfortable, spacious and clean with a stunning view. The place is perfect for a peaceful gateway and had everything we needed.
