Positive: The back porch was outstanding with a 180 degree view. Watching the whales breach from the deck and the waves crashing on the rocks, not to mention the beautiful sunsets! What a magnificent place to have a vacation! The location was perfect with a world surfing contest going on within walking distance! Grocery Store in walking distance, food trucks across the street, and a waterfall just down the road from the property Waimea Valley! The town of Haleiwa just 15 mins away where my daughter, son in law went deep sea fishing and caught a Marlin and 3 Mahi Mahi. To top it all we had to try surfing lessons.. This property provides snorkeling and boogie boards. The host Steve was superb always attentive to our needs! Pictures do not do this place justice! I am ready to come back! Save a spot for me and my family!

Positive: The view is amazing! The ocean changes every day, so it was wonderful to sit on the balcony with our morning coffee and watch the waves create a whirlpool on the plateau --mesmerizing! So close to the public snorkeling area and food trucks and Foodland. Comfy beds and couch. Nicely decorated and all the amenities were perfect.

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: The location was perfect. We watched the whales every morning from the deck. The ease of access was also a piece of cake. The host was great to accommodate our needs by allowing an extra person and adjusting our checkout due to a place change.

Negative: Many of the outlets did not work, making some things (charging, blow drying/curling hair) a bit more challenging.

Positive: Beautiful views! The home was very comfortable, clean, and updated. You can’t beat the location. Right on the ocean, close to food & shopping. Rocky coast from property (which we loved) but short easy walk to sandy beach. Could’ve sat on the porch for days. Some gecko friends in the house, and several chickens outside, but we enjoyed all of them. Lots of beach equipment too. We had a wonderful stay (wish we could’ve stayed longer).

Summary: A relaxing couple days taking in the beauty & enjoying the local vibes.

Positive: The location and view were definitely worth it. We spent a lot of time on the deck throughout the day. It was ideally located and close to beaches, grocery stores and food carts. The caregiver was super responsive to any issues and that was much appreciated.

Negative: We had a bed break during the night and that was not so great, but the caregiver was in the next day to replace it. My brother and his wife did not have a very good night, but all was well in the end.

Summary: The views and the location are amazing. Would definitely stay again
