Positive: The location and view were definitely worth it. We spent a lot of time on the deck throughout the day. It was ideally located and close to beaches, grocery stores and food carts. The caregiver was super responsive to any issues and that was much appreciated.
Negative: We had a bed break during the night and that was not so great, but the caregiver was in the next day to replace it. My brother and his wife did not have a very good night, but all was well in the end.
Summary: The views and the location are amazing. Would definitely stay again

Positive: Absolutely fabulous 180 degree views of beautiful and varied ocean front. Stunning! Comfortable spaces and good amount of room for several family members. Proximity in walking distance if desired to grocery and food trucks. Walking distance to iconic surfing beaches.

Positive: Location and view were incredible! Having AC on the North Shore is a must, so that was also a nice feature. We saw several awesome rainbows from the deck out front.
Negative: The downstairs rooms seems like they could have been a little more welcoming, the main house (upstairs) is way nicer than the lower area with 2 beds.
Summary: We had some family members with mobility issues, so they stayed downstairs :(

Positive: We just returned from our 2nd stay at this property. The location is perfect for exploring the north and north-east shores of Oahu and the property is large and comfortable for a group. This trip we were 2 adults and 4 teens (our last trip we were 4 adults and 6 kids) and the house was more than big enough. The kitchen has the basics, but we didn't use it much. We ate easy breakfasts at the house and had most of our other meals over at either the Kahuka Sugar Mill food trucks (15 min drive), or the food trucks by the house (5 min walk). The house is an easy 5 min walk to Sharks Cove that has great snorkeling and an easy 5 min walk in the other direction to a beautiful sandy beach (although the waves were on the larger side this trip and it wasn't swimmable when we visited in the winter). The house is close to Waimea Bay, Turtle Beach, and Haleiwa town; very easy drives although traffic can get backed up at busy times. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The host is very responsive to any questions. The view from the back porch is amazing. It looks out over a rocky area to the ocean. Looking out in the winter we saw whales. This summer we saw a lot of snorkelers :). The rocky area and its tide pools is fun to explore. From the edge of the rocks we saw sea turtles swimming along. The rainbows and sunsets are amazing.
Negative: There were a few things that could be improved, but they were very minor inconveniences. The house has air conditioner units in the living room that cool the front of the house down nicely. The bedrooms cool down enough, but they do not get cold. Something to consider if temperature is very important to you for sleeping. The master bathroom door does not offer complete privacy, but it's easy to close the bedroom door if complete privacy is needed. Something that I don't believe can be helped with it being a tropical island, are the few bugs & lizards that can get inside. Keeping the counters clean of food and crumbs helps a lot. We stored all food in the refrigerator.
Summary: This is a comfortable house in the perfect location.
