Positive: Enjoyed the salt pool but online scheduling was not working. Food was very good.

Negative: Dinner food was good but all the food came out at the same time. Appetizer with main dish etc.

Positive: We had a beautiful upgraded 2 Queen room that was very comfortable. The Forte restaurant had excellent food and we really enjoyed the amenities like the pool and gym (such nice equipment, my only feedback to the staff was that they could use some weights between the 5 and 10 lbs for us seniors :). The staff from front desk, bellmen, and housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Negative: The pool water could have been a little clearer for lap swimming.

Positive: Beautiful location. Take the tram to the viewing deck!! Book the swimming pool in advance to avoid missing out. Staff advised us of this on arrival.

Summary: Perfect stop on the drive from Anchorage to Homer. Wish we had stayed their longer to explore.

Positive: Dinner at Forte was excellent. The Rigatoni Bolognese was superb and Hannah was a most friendly, attentive and professional waitress. That was the high point of the visit. The room was nice and the bed very comfy.

Negative: No Bar service until after 5 AM, limited dining options especially for breakfast. The atmosphere outside of Forte was rather chilled and the common areas were dingier than I expected. Perhaps it was because of visiting during shoulder season, but the resort seemed in a near hibernation. IMHO it fell well short of expectations, was not worth the price and I would not stay again.

Summary: Great diner, comfy bed, but overall not a good value.
