Positive: The resort was designed and built with huge sympathy to the environment, without the use of heavy equipment. The villas blend into the hillside and have beautiful views. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, it feels like nothing is too much trouble. The food was fresh and tasty. The boat trips which were included were excellent and well-organised, providing a chance to see the corals, varied sea life, and beautiful beaches.

Negative: There are a lot of steps, so you need to be reasonably fit and mobile.

Positive: We stayed in the family suite, it was very spacious with a clean and modern look. Had an amazing view and the amenities were great. The staff were super friendly and helpful, Special thanks to: Front reception: Diana, Priscilla, Cel, Asyiqin, Fatin Breakfast staff: Aidil and Hasni General staff: Adnan We also booked scuba diving with the coral reef project, Haqim the instructor is extremely caring in the water and made the experience very safe and enjoyable. Alunan has a great ethos around caring for the beautiful natural beauty and takes care not to damage the coral reef. Loved our stay here
