Summary: We went for our 10th anniversary as a surprise for my wife. She was blown away with the setting and the views in particular. The staff were top notch, our glasses were never empty and Alison and her team was always on hand to assist. Wee bonuses were: hot tub available at all times, a small beach area by the loch, and the quality of dining options available. There are a good few options of places to eat within a 5 mile radius, but we chose to eat here both nights as the menu was tempting, the view of Ben Lomond whilst eating was a plus, and the food was delicious of course. Even the basic hotel stuff was done to the highest standard. Lost of fantastic hotels let themselves down with poorly maintained bathrooms, like broken tiles, empty soap dispensers etc. But none of that here, everything was presented in a welcoming and polished manner. They do things right here. Oh and the robot lawn mowers will captivate you. A must visit 10/10

Summary: The area was stunning and right on a loch which was a bonus. The hotel itself we think could do with some updates as it is old. The food wasn’t that great and both of us struggled to finish our meals. Our room was comfortable and well presented. Small touches would have been nice like labelling the bathroom dispensers. The website is also out of date and some hotel features aren’t available anymore. Room 10 you also have to walk through the kitchen & out behind the storage area to get to it
