Positive: The sunset view was definitely nice from the balcony (if there is no wind) and the large bedroom windows served its purpose. The heat pump did its job well for the bedroom.

Negative: It is a full Jordan style 2-storey house with one double + 3 single beds that is better suited for the warm season. The bathroom was cold and unusable for showering in December. Kitchen facilities minimalistic. Though, you get the feel how many people in Jordan live. Oh, and the bedsheet problem where you cannot be sure if they are used or not

Positive: The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. Since the chalet is located on a higher spot, it overlooks the forest with a wide, open view, and the best part is that nothing blocks the scenery. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, with very few houses in the area, giving you a wonderful sense of seclusion and making it an ideal place to unwind and relax.

Negative: The kitchen is almost empty and lacks many basic essentials, the living room really needs an air conditioner which makes it hard to sit there, and the internet connection is weak.

Positive: Quaint, cozy house in the countryside. Beautiful view over the valley. The area was rural, quiet, and had a great spot for doing some kid-friendly hiking just a kilometer down the road. The beds were comfy, and the bedrooms were warm. We loved playing games by the wood-fed pot-bellied stove!

Negative: The kitchen was pretty bare-bones, so bring what you need. The living room area can also get quite cold in the winter unless you are using the wood stove. Firewood is 10 JOD for a large-ish box. Or bring/find your own. :-)
