Positive: We had an amazing experience at Alonaland Resort in Alona Beach, Bohol. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with excellent attention to cleanliness and daily housekeeping. The resort is peaceful and well maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere while still being just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and all the activities in Alona. The location is perfect: close enough to everything, yet quiet enough to enjoy real rest. The garden and common areas are lovely, and the overall vibe of the resort is calm and authentic. Great value for money, excellent service, and a truly enjoyable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Alonaland Resort to anyone visiting Bohol.

Positive: This was my favourite place I stayed in while in Alona beach. Wish I had more time to spend here. The gardens are just beautiful and the whole atmosphere is really relaxing. A real haven from the hustle and bustle of central Alona. Rooms are quite 'retro' but beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Handy wee adapter by the bed for usbs/ various plugs which was great. WiFi was good. Shower pressure and temp all good. Kitchenette has everything you need to prep simple meals, rice cooker, kettle, two ring gas stove, utensils etc. Plus I loved they had a fan on the balcony. Only negative is the 11am checkout but not a big thing. This has nothing to do with the hotel but I feel sad for the hotels and restaurants on this road that there is no beach access from this road when its so close. It's still only a 10 min walk but your'e walking all along the busy main road and really clogged one road to the beach. Shame there can't be some negotiation with the big resorts just to make a pedestrian path to help the businesses on this strip.

Positive: The staff are lovely here, very friendly and helpful. They helped me book a tour of the island that was really good and helped organise transport to and from the port. I enjoyed the pool. The gardens around the hotel are nice and well kept. Rooms are a good size with fridge, kettle. Daily cleaning of the room was good. WiFi worked well. Location is in a quiet area but short walk to restaurants etc and beach is about a 10 min walk. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Negative: Bed and pillows were a bit hard for me. You only get two bottles of water on arrival. A suggestion for improvement would be to have a cold water dispenser in reception so people can refill their water bottles! Otherwise it’s a lot of plastic waste buying water all the time!

Positive: This resort is old but well maintained and very clean. The villas are nice and spacious with outdoor space and a well-equipped kitchen. Beds are quite comfortable and aircons are new. It's well located in a quiet area but with easy walking access to cafés/restaurants and Alona Beach. All in all, a very good price/quality deal.

Negative: In the private rooms, the Walls are quite thin and one night we could hear all the unholy business of the next door neighbours. However, if you have quiet neighbours or are staying in the villas, it's fine.
