Positive: One of the best hotels we stayed in in the Philippines, our room was very spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the pool was also a nice area to relax in after exploring Bohol and Fely was an amazing and lovely host who helped us a lot during our stay, including renting motorcycles, booking the boat and ordering Tuktuks for us! Would recommend to everyone to stay here when visiting Panglao as it is also in a perfect location just a short walk away from the main area of Panglao and Alona beach!

Negative: Nothing it was perfect!

Positive: My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alona WhiteHouses Resort, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home, thanks to the warmth and hospitality of Ate Fely. Her kindness and attentiveness made our stay truly special, and we can’t thank her enough. The resort itself is a peaceful retreat, away from the noise of Alona Beach but still just a short walk to all the action. Our accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the private verandas, where we could relax and enjoy the beautifully maintained garden. The pool was also a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Panglao. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’re so grateful for the hospitality we received. Alona WhiteHouses Resort is truly a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing and intimate getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Positive: The owners were very nice and helped us with booking a ferry and a scooter! The pool was nice and clean and they also gave us extra towels. The room was very spacious and no animals came inside.

Negative: The way to the property is very muddy and dark, especially when the sun sets. I didn’t feel very safe walking it but with a scooter it was okay. They also charged us extra for the bookings so if you go into town you can get it for cheaper.

Positive: Our BEST stay in the Philippines, everything was just perfect. Relaxing garden & pool, great vibes, the room was spacious, clean and super comfy bed. Everything is well designed, absolutely flawless. The hosts are the most welcoming and make sure you have everything you need and more. It was also very convenient to rent a motorbike that was delivered right at the gate for us. We couldn't recommend it enough.

Positive: Our room was spacious and had a small refrigerator and tv. The bathroom was also good size and it was nice to have a swimming pool downstairs. They also arranged for a scooter rental and a tuk tuk to the ferry port.

Negative: We had a guaranteed, four-night reservation, but the husband gave our room to a walk-up couple, thinking it was us. Upon our arrival, the wife diverted us to a much lower standard/low-rated hotel full of ants for the first night. Given that the error was theirs, we thought it was unfair that the only people to lose out in the mess were us. She paid for the room at the other hotel out of what we had paid her for the first night. Once we saw the hotel she sent us to, we complained, but she declined to do anything.
