Summary: 1st room I was put in was terrible - the AC on the wall was louder than construction, it was clearly an un-renovated room (as I have stayed here before and know the quality of other king bed rooms). Was put in a 2nd room that wasnt much better but at least had central AC - still there was hair in the bathroom, spots on the mirror, broken suitcase holder but still in the closet, over looking a parking garage. It's clear they put you in their worst room possible if you book 3rd party.

Summary: Whilst not directly on the beach the hotel was in a great location. We stayed in an oceanview room and our balcony was on the side of the building. Views were still good. Pool and surrounding pool area was very nice. Drinks and food around the pool were expensive when you include taxes and tip but to be expected I suppose just for the convenience.

Summary: Its great hotel. The location is great too. Its located on near the Honolulu zoo. Which means less congestion by cars and pedestrians. My oceanfront room was amazing as always. The only negative I have is the windows are single pane. The nose is clear even at night when I am trying to sleep.

Summary: None of the rooms listed as partial or ocean view actually offer an ocean view. To see even a glimpse of the ocean, you have to step out onto the balcony. The upgrade isn’t worth it, and I definitely didn’t feel this was a five-star resort. While it’s closer to Waikiki Beach, which is convenient, the Hilton up the road is a far superior resort with much better rooms.

Summary: Hotel lobby was beautiful so I had high hopes but was quickly disappointed when we got to our room. I was shocked they are considered 5 stars given the quality of the furniture and the cleanliness of the room. Furniture was pretty beat up, there was hair in the shower and mold on the bidet. After we shared our experience with the hotel and asked for our room to be cleaned again, we still came back to the same hair and the body wash was not once refilled. I would not stay here if you are truly looking for 5 stars.
