Positive: These apartments exceeded all my expectations. The building is well-maintained with fresh renovations, always clean, and the elevator is completely silent. Inside the apartment, everything was spotless and incredibly quiet, I never heard the neighbors (except for a couple of times in the morning when faint Mozart music could be heard near the bathroom, which added a nice touch) The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there are three cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds. The two bathrooms, shower, bathtub, and the unexpected addition of a sauna were truly impressive. The balcony overlooks a quiet inner courtyard. This isn’t my first time visiting Budapest, but these apartments are by far the best I’ve stayed in. Highly recommend

Positive: It is a very large and comfortable apartment. The 110 square meters can really be felt. I was surprised to find that Aloha actually has three bedrooms. Two with a double bed and a small bedroom (without a window to the outside) in which there is a single bed. There is a huge, fully equipped kitchen where there is a table for 6 people where you can eat. There is a large hallway and a generous living room for socializing, with a sofa and an armchair. The beds are comfortable and the bedding is impeccable. Inner courtyard. Many apartments in Budapest (including the two I stayed in previously) are beautiful but the inner courtyard through which you reach them are far from any beauty. This is not the case at Aloha. The inner courtyard is renovated and looks almost impeccable. The elevator was rebuilt and there is also a space in the inner courtyard for bicycle parking. In fact, the entire block where the apartment is located looks very good. Tranquillity. The apartment is on the 5th floor and with windows overlooking a private street, closed to car traffic. When you go out on the small balcony, you can drink your coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening in complete silence. There is no bar or restaurant on the ground floor that can be heard in the silence of the night. Location. I knew from the moment I chose the apartment that it was located in a particularly good area. Properly speaking, the block in which the apartment is located is located on the Danube quay. On the ground floor of the building there is a bar and a restaurant on the quayside. Within a radius of a few hundred meters you can find restaurants, cafes, McDonalds and two supermarkets. The tram stations (one to the lines that bypass the entire city centre and one to the lines that go on the Danube quay) are a few minutes away. A swimming pools and a thermal pool are a 15-20 minute walk, on Margit Island, the island itself being a beautiful park.

Negative: Other things that are good to know. Parking. If you come by car, unfortunately you will not be able to keep it in the area. Being in the central area of the city, parking is limited to 3 hours between 08-22 and one hour of parking costs 600 HUF. At the host's indication I installed Parkl app and I could easily pay the parking fee online, because the machines on the street only accept coins. (be aware you have to enter in the Parkl app the code of the area, that you find written in large letters on the payment machines on the street). Between 10 pm and 8 am and on weekends parking is free. The good thing is that not far away (about 20 minutes walk) there is a private guarded parking lot where you can leave your car for 3500 HUF per day. There is a small oddity related to one of the bathrooms, the one in which the sauna is located, and another small oddity related to the storage space in one of the bedrooms. Honestly, I wasn't bothered by any of these oddities, so I'll let you discover them for yourself. There are a lot of board games in the little bedroom. I didn't have time to try them but you can do it yourself.
