Enjoy staying at this prime location, only 10 metres off the waters edge. A great stop off while travelling the Great Ocean Road. Family, fisherman and small children in mind. Self conatined, modern and tidy. This comfortable house with great sea views is just great for the family holiday. Bring your boat and dog so they don't get left behind. Ample room for boat parking.Go for walks on tide along quite Allestree beach. This beach boasts all the qualities of fishing, snorkelling, surfing and swimming.
If you are a keen fisherman this is the place for you. Sit on the balcony with a lazy line, sit back and watch for the bite, or head down to Wally's ramp 500 meters up the road and put your boat in.
Allestree Escape is the place to stay all year round, enjoy swimming and sun in the summer, or sitting by the slow combustion wood heater reading a book and watching the wild sea out your window in winter.
Allestree Escape is newly renovated. It sleeps 7 people comfortably and has 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: 1x double. Bedroom 2: 1x single bunk, 1x double bunk. There is a lovely large living area consisting of kitchen, dining and lounge. One bathroom and laundry. It is a home away from home, fully equipped with all household needs including washer and dryer. Pet and very child friendly, meaning a relaxing holiday for mum an dad.
It is located 8km out of the township of Portland. Where you will find everything you need. There is a small shop for essentials and fish and chips located approx 2km away.
Allestree Escape is suited to couples for a romantic weekend. Families for a great beach holiday. Fishermen, fish while sitting on the balcony or boat ramp close by. Lots of room for fishing boats.

Summary: This place is in a beautiful, peaceful location, just a short drive to the shops and the perfect base to day trip to the Grampians or Mt Gambier. With 2 teenagers, a tween, a10 year old and a staffie, it had plenty of comfy beds and great living space with a beautiful relaxing view from the front verandah. Thank you!
