Positive: The hotel is good and very well located- next to the river and the central streets with shops and restaurants and 20 minutes on foot from the entrance of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The room was nice with comfortable beds and a beautiful balcony, the complimentary bottled water was also a nice touch. The breakfast offered is simple, but tasty. However, what really made us love this place is the staff, especially the manager Chen and the front desk staff - Coco and her colleague. They went out of their way to meet any need we had - from the airport pickup, trough reservations for the attractions we asked for, to making everything possible to help us resolve an incident we had with a wallet lost in a taxi. And at the check-out Coco pleasantly surprised us with a hand written post card! We felt more like being at a friend's house than at a hotel. Thank you, Chen, Coco and the team ❤️

Positive: Very nice room including a bath tab. Park entrance is 20 min walk by a river. The peesonell is super kind and willing to help.

Negative: Breakfast could be much better, and we needed to stay in a different room the first night bc of problems in ours.

Positive: The place was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect, the staff is AMAZING, the room is comfortable, honestly this is a GEM. I don’t even write booking reviews but I just had to for this one

Negative: The location is a little difficult to find, ask the hotel to give you the Chinese name to show your taxi driver while your stay!

Positive: Everything about this hotel is perfect: great location in the center but in a quiet street, the rooms are very spacious and perfectly equipped, and the owner Chen will make your stay absolutely special, because he will help you book all the tickets, explain the route in each place, give valuable tips, organize transport from the airport/train station and even remember if you eat one or two fried eggs for breakfast. Thank you for the room upgrade that I received and the beautiful room with a bathtub. Since after every day you will be very tired from long walks in the surrounding mountains I sincerely recommend this room with a bathtub for an evening rest. Thank you very much for everything and I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Positive: Location is great and central. Walking distance to many restaurants and the river/bridge. Only 5 mins taxi to the East entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. We got a complimentary upgrade and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The best part of the stay is the host himself Mr. Chen. He gave us recommendations on the itinerary and helped us book all the tickets to the parks. Extremely helpful, kind and generous. Highly recommended place to stay!!
