Positive: It was in the park, which made it very convenient. The included breakfast and dinner were very good and convenient since there are only a few options for meals in the park. The service was very good-everyone was very nice and helpful.

Negative: Nothing

Summary: We had an excellent stay that was a wonderful retreat in the woods.

Positive: I love the dinner buffet, lots of yummy choices in a nice setting, the steak is a must-try, the best I’ve had in a long time. The breakfast was ok in comparison. The hotel has a look out on the roof where you can catch the sunset and/or a sea of clouds if you are lucky. They can also organise for the shuttle bus company to pick you up for the sunrise at Zhushan. The staff at the hotel are generally nice and helpful.

Negative: It was very expensive for what seems like a very ordinary room with no bathtub, the towels looked old, there were no slippers or other things like toothbrush etc. We were in the historic building that might be the reason why the room looked a bit dated during the day, it looks a lot nicer with the lights on at night. I am guessing this is probably because there are not much decent options around the area.

Summary: It was a comfortable stay albeit very expensive for what seems like an ordinary room

Positive: The location in great inside the park. Observation deck is not very well kept but wonderful. The view from the room.

Negative: They don’t tell you you can’t get to the hotel with a car. You have to park at the visitor center where there is hardly any parking a take a shuttle that runs every half hour. The food is just ok. For 500 US dollars you expect something more than the location.

Positive: Excellent location, decent breakfast and dinner buffet. Great customer service.

Negative: Very worn down and could be cleaner for the price point. Did not live up to minor details you expect at this price i.e. missing slippers.
