Positive: Beautiful interiors, all walls and ceilings decorated, at walking distance from center attractions and market

Negative: Perhaps because we were there in September, but understaffed, electrical equipment was all unplugged and not always intuitive… with the tv (in the Hotel Suite!!) needing to be plugged with a long extension that was too short and crossed the room. Poor lighting especially for women wanting to put make up (with a light in bathroom out and the medicine cabinet light never wired in).

Summary: Great potential, but falls short. Easy fixes but necessary to be considered a serious 5 star hotel

Positive: Amazing palace style hotel, comfortable beds, very attentive staff, great location and views from the room.

Negative: The offer I booked said spa access was included and when I got there they said it wasn’t. Besides that all perfect.

Positive: Omg it’s not a hotel, it’s a Museum haha! I had a feeling that I lived in Dolma Bahce Palace and that I was a king! Very photogenic, lovely stuff at the reception and kitchen as well, great location and the value was surprising! Definitely recommend and would love to be back!

Negative: All was perfect!!

Negative: The staff gave me a glass of wine for 5000 AMD (think most bottles here are 2000) and then they measured 50 ml wine in a glass. Normal wine nothing special. Then I showed her that any serving is min 180 grams for wine and she said she’s not a bartender…. Also it seems like black money type of place: refused to offer invoice, refused to accept card, tried to charge us more but in the end accepted to pay the right amount. All in all was nice and comfortable, but service is super basic and amnesties lack. No elevator. No doorman. Felt more like a home stay. Breakfast was cheap with basic cheap foods. Quite a paradox for such a grandios looking hotel.
